A tall abstract expressionist enameled steel sculpture by San Francisco painter and sculptor Béla Harcos from his late 1990s “Calligraphy in Steel” exhibition.

Trio of billowed sail or leaf-like forms in black, red, and yellow enameled welded steel appear to balance upon a tilted disc that's affixed atop a slightly leaning tall black enameled steel pole with rectangular base. They’re accented by a pair of gracefully intertwined black enameled steel rods.

The entire piece has a Kandinsky-like off-kilter energy that conveys a wonderful sense of movement, with a slight touch or breeze bringing it to quivering life.

Overall dimensions are 5H 68 in. x W 19.5 in. x D 17.25 in.. Specific dimensions are as follows: Sculpture: H 24 in. x W 18.5 in. x D 17.25 in. Base: W 14.88 in. x D 10.38.

Presents well overall. Various amounts of mostly isolated tiny or small tarnish/rust spots and chips. Texturing in some areas, possible inherent in material, or from being repainted over tarnish. Yellow overspray on rod. Base w/ tape residue, duller.
