Offered here is a wonderful Chinese Alter table, made out of Zitan wood, from Qing Dynasty Era in the 19th century. Carved on all sides of its apron, flowers/plants, symbols and words, with some light carving on its legs. Legs have two cross braces each, and between the legs and cross bracing, the hole is framed with more Zitan. Wood has a smooth lustrous patina, it’s a dense hardwood with a nice looking grain.
