A very uncommon and visually striking 1970s Astrolite Products four-rod lucite and chrome table lamp by Ritts Company of Los Angeles.

The crystal clear quartet of one-inch-diameter curved lucite rods are suspended over a substantial two-inch-thick tapered lucite base. They’re attached to a frosted lucite mount on a chrome-finish plastic stem. With clear acrylic cube finial and original three-way socket.

Has a clean, sculptural aesthetic that would look equally at home alongside vintage lucite pieces by Dorothy Thorpe and Karl Springer as it would in a modern minimalist interior. Designed by Herb Ritts, Sr. for the influential LA-based eponymous furniture company he headed with his wife Shirley. Their son Herb Ritts, Jr. was the celebrated 1980s and 1990s fashion photographer and music video director.

Dimensions overall;
Height: 29.38 in
Width: 7 in
Depth: 7 in
Height to top of socket is 20.75 in.
