Postmodern PAF Studio Gordon Floor Lamp by Barbaglia and Colombo, 1980s

A rather rare 1980s postmodern PAF Studio Gordon floor lamp by Mario Barbaglia and Marco Colombo.
Minimalist positionable metal form with satin black powder coated enamel finish features two points of articulation, with little levers for loosening and tightening the joints. Nine-by-four-inch black plastic shade with recessed metal top vent, internal reflector, and halogen bulb. Saucer-shaped base is 12-inch-diameter cast iron with a plastic bottom cover marked in mold with manufacturer, model, designers, and “Made in Italy”.

Controlled via a robust inline sliding dimmer switch/transformer with a US two-prong plug.

Condition: Good
Wear consistent with age and use. In very good vintage condition. Has an ever so slight lean (not unusual for this model) that’s only noticeable from the side. A few tiny spots on shade. Some very tiny fleabite nicks to finish on lowest section of stem. Light scuffs/marks on base.
