A strikingly handsome—and rather scarce Stateside—1970s Scandinavian modern leather, chrome, and rosewood high back Wing lounge chair designed by Harald Relling, and manufactured by P.I. Langlos Fabrikker for Westnofa of Norway.

Incredibly comfortable, cleverly constructed, and visually intriguing design features a chrome-plated tubular steel frame with rosewood accents that supports a low-slung sling-style seat and arms in cognac leather.

Chrome frame comprised of just two elements that bend and extend to form the base, front, and dramatic V-shaped back. They’re joined by solid rosewood spacers in the front and back.

Brown canvas sling attaches to the black plastic-capped frame ends via pins on polished nickel buckles that are secured by brown leather tabs at each corner. (Please note that the tabs have been professionally replaced, the details of which are described elsewhere in this listing.) An internal steel frame in the seat provides structure, and to which are mounted outrigger-like arms with polished nickel supports.

Original leather in a cognac color is soft and supple, with tufted-like details on the seat and back, and ample padding within. Back cushion has leather laces at the top corners that tie to the leather tabs and keep it in place.
