Pair of Mid-Century Lane Acclaim Snack Tables by Andre Bus, 1960

A pair of scarce 1960 Lane Acclaim No. 900-18 snack tables by Dutch designer Andre Bus.

A seldom seen design from the iconic mid-century modern furniture line that launched in 1958. These diminutive pieces would make great side tables or occasional tables when not serving up snacks.

They feature warm walnut veneer tops and expertly sculpted solid fruitwood trim, legs, stretchers, and cross-pieces in a contrasting natural light blonde tone. Distinguished by the hand-crafted oversized dovetail joinery detail that melds the contrasting woods in such handsomely distinctive fashion. Stand on feet finished in black lacquer.

Condition..:
Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. In very good professionally refinished vintage condition. What might appear to be a crack in one leg is actually just a dark and prominent grain line.
