1890s Antique Silk Cigar Ribbon Hand Embroidered Quilt Block ***SOLD***

Offered here is a circa 1890s-1910s silk cigar ribbon, hand embroidered quilt block. These ribbons started out wrapping bunches of cigars, with the brand names printed on the ribbons. Starting in the victorian era woman saved them, and then in turn made them into quilts, pillows, table covers, etc. Showing 24 cigar brand names, ribbons are mostly orange, others are a yellow. Dimensions: Height: 0.01 in Width: 18 in Depth: 17.38 in Condition: Good Wear consistent with age and use. Over all in great vintage condition, light signs of normal wear minor small dot stains nothing major, Does have staining on the cotton backing, back side.
