A strikingly handsome and scarce 1950s mid-century Scandinavian modern two-tone teak coffee table by Aase Mølle for Trævarefabrik from Ganddal, Norway.
Trim, legs, and stretchers of solid old growth teak with a darker stained rosewood-like tone and dynamic grain pattern. Trim features exceptionally well-sculpted gently tapered and rounded edges, with either end having an airplane wing or surfboard-like form.
Expansive top finished in finely-grained bookmatched teak veneer with a very attractive and warm lighter contrasting tone that’s integral to the piece’s eye-catching overall look.

Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. In very good vintage condition. Appears to have been professionally refinished recently by a prior owner. Top with some fine, faintly darker lines and marks from superficial scratches. A couple tiny dings and marks on edges and legs.
