A 1960s mid-century modern eight-foot-long bowed-edge walnut dining table by Danish-American designer Jens Risom, a pioneer in introducing Scandinavian design principles to the United States.

Seats eight to ten, with the boat-shaped or surfboard-shaped top’s gently curved sides facilitating better lines of sight and communication than a rectangular table of this size. Features a dining surface with very handsomely figured bookmatched walnut veneer. Clean and uncluttered underneath, with solid walnut 1.75-inch-square legs and 2.75 inch-by-1 inch stretcher.

Retains complete Jens Risom Design label on underside.
