A monumental and uncommon Marbro brass table lamp on black wood base.
Substantial gleaming solid brass body features interesting Machine Age-type design details that evoke an antique diving bell or pressure cooker. Black lacquered turned wood base provides Hollywood Regency style. Original brass stem and fittings with likely newer finial. Original dual pull-chain sockets with new in-line switch wiring. Marbro label remnant on stem.
H 38 in. x W 14 in. x D 11 in. In great restored vintage condition. Polished body has a few minor marks. A bit of excess application of clear coat evident on neck and side (Images 6 and 9). Base is refinished. Original sockets and some hardware have expected tarnish.
