A late 1960s chrome floor lamp with a trio of articulated orb lights by OMI for Koch & Lowy.
Finished in gleaming chrome from top to bottom. Eyeball-style globe shades with matte black interiors rotate and swivel on fixed arms that branch out in different directions from the stem, allowing for precise positioning of each independently controlled light. Lights can also be controlled in unison via an in-line switch.
Ideally designed and situated to stand beside or between seating and décor that benefits from easily customizable multi-source lighting. Shades are slightly larger than those found on aesthetically similar mid-century designs by Robert Sonneman and Kovacs, giving this perfectly proportioned vintage piece a more distinctive and commanding contemporary presence.
