A pair of monumental 1960s Marbro-style Hollywood Regency antiqued brass table lamps with silk shades.
Very substantial and visual striking round brass bodies feature a quite uncommon form not seen in other lamps produced by the same manufacturer that share its distinctive thick stem design and satin black lacquered metal base.
Antiqued brass finish closely resembles Mastercraft’s signature look. Though often attributed to Marbro Lamp Company, they’re unmarked, with our research indicating them to actually be of high-end Japanese origin.
Dual opposing horizontal sockets with independent wood ball pull chains with hints of their original painted black finish. Original brass finials. More recent off-white silk shantung shades.

Condition: Good Replacements made: Lamp at left: Stem above sockets has been replaced with newer segments to match original height. Wear consistent with age and use. Very good vintage condition. A few tiny nicks and marks. Paint worn off pulls. Lamp at left: Finish slightly darker. Lamp at right: Stem slightly tilted due to compression into base, only noticeably from certain angles; shade has light stain on side.
