A pair of rare c. 1955 model 3303 occasional or end tables with leather top and ebonized mahogany frame by Tommi Parzinger for Charak Modern.
Exceptionally handsome Hollywood Regency design distinguished by a two-inch-tall leather-clad top with cordovan color craqueler finish and finely done embossed gilt detailing. Ebonized mahogany frame with shelf features a deeply scalloped apron and elegantly tapered legs with exactingly hand painted muted gold pinstriping.
Model number written on underside of shelf, which is 16 inches from the floor.
H 26 in. x W 19 in. x D 19 in. Great vintage condition. Frames: a few tiny marks, mostly on one leg and one shelf edge; a couple faint spots on one shelf; a few isolated areas of faintly varied sheen. Tops: light signs of use w/ mostly small marks, faint scratches; ding on corner.
