A very handsome and uncommon 1970s post-modern faux-burl wood laminate three-tier stepped console table.

Inverted ziggurat form comprised of three “stacked” rectangular elements. Finished on all sides in a dynamic multi-hued brown faux-burl wood laminate featuring fantastic figuring with delicately-rendered lighter-colored highlights. Has an almost marble-like or tortoise shell appearance that invites closer inspection.

Equally well-suited against a wall or as a free-standing statement piece in a room due to its impressive presence, striking geometry, and 360 degree appeal. Would look right at home alongside pieces with a similar aesthetic by Karl Springer.

Dimensions:
Height: 28 in
Width: 60.13 in
Depth: 18 in
Condition: Good
Wear consistent with age and use. In very good vintage condition. Light surface wear. Barely noticeable irregularity where laminate meets floor in spots due to very minor swelling of underlying wood caused by moisture, including a tiny instance of separation on two bottom corners.
